This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by LabCoat (“LabCoat,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and applies only to genuine Nebula Ceramic Coating products installed by a LabCoat Approved Installer in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and the terms set forth below.

1. Warranty Coverage

LabCoat warrants that, with proper application of Nebula Ceramic Coating by a LabCoat Approved Installer, the treated vehicle’s paint finish will remain protected against:

  • Oxidation
  • Loss of gloss
  • UV damage
  • Acid rain
  • Paint chalking

If any treated paint surface is shown to be adversely affected by exposure to these conditions through normal use — as evidenced by a visible loss of paint gloss — and all terms of this Warranty have been met, LabCoat, its regional distributor, and/or its authorized installers may remedy such condition at no charge for the coating material.

LabCoat and its authorized installers reserve the right to attempt repair through professional surface reconditioning or polishing prior to any repainting of the affected area.

2. Applicable Vehicles & Period of Coverage

Nebula Ceramic Coating is eligible for coverage up to ten (10) years from the date of application provided all annual service requirements are met.

Failure to complete any required Annual Inspection will result in the immediate and irreversible termination of this Warranty.

3. Warranty Registration Requirement

Warranty coverage is valid only if:

  • A Warranty Card has been issued by the Approved Installer
  • The warranty is registered within thirty (30) days of application

Failure to register within this timeframe will void this Warranty without exception.

4. General Conditions

This Warranty is subject to the following conditions:

  • The vehicle must remain registered for legal, non-commercial road use for the entire duration of the warranty
  • Only passenger vehicles are eligible for coverage
  • Commercial vehicles of any kind are not covered
  • Vehicles over three (3) months old must receive machine polishing by an Approved Installer prior to coating application
  • Newer vehicles may also require machine polishing if deemed necessary by the Approved Installer
  • In the event of accident repair or paintwork, the repaired area must be retreated by a LabCoat Approved Installer within thirty (30) days, at the vehicle owner’s expense
  • The Warranty is registered to the vehicle owner and is non-transferable
  • If reapplication is required due to repair or accident, the vehicle owner or insurer is responsible for all reapplication costs, as determined by the Approved Installer

5. Maintenance & Care Requirements

To maintain warranty eligibility, the vehicle’s exterior paintwork must be:

  • Washed regularly in accordance with LabCoat maintenance recommendations (minimum bi-weekly)
  • Properly dried after washing, especially within the first two (2) weeks following installation
  • Free from standing water on coated surfaces

If the vehicle is exposed to high mineral-content water (including sprinkler systems, tap water in certain regions, or automated car washes), all coated surfaces must be dried promptly using a microfiber towel.

Water spots caused by mineral deposits should be removed as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in permanent etching, which is not covered under this Warranty.

6. Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Negligence, misuse, or improper maintenance
  • Pre-existing paint damage or defects
  • Substandard materials or workmanship by vehicle manufacturers, dealerships, third parties, or non-approved detailers
  • Damage caused by improper washing, automatic car washes, brushes, or contaminated wash tools
  • Swirl marks, marring, scratches, scuffs, scrapes, or rock chips
  • Water spotting caused by mineral deposits
  • Clear coat failure, peeling, hazing, or fading covered under the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty
  • Damage from collisions, vandalism, fire, hail, floods, stones, rust, rail dust, overspray, water etching, or environmental fallout
  • Areas not retreated after paint repair
  • Loss of time, inconvenience, or loss of vehicle use

Touch-less car washes only. Brush-style washes are strictly prohibited.

7. Annual Inspections

To maintain warranty coverage:

  • Annual inspections must be completed by a LabCoat Approved Installer
  • Inspections must occur within thirty (30) days before or after the anniversary date of the last service
  • Failure to complete an annual inspection within this window will void the Warranty

The Annual Inspection includes:

  • Exterior wash
  • Decontamination
  • Topcoat or maintenance layer (if applicable)
  • Visual inspection

A service fee, determined by the Approved Installer, will apply.

Annual inspections must be recorded within thirty (30) days in LabCoat’s warranty system.

8. Claims & Limit of Liability

Any damage believed to be covered under this Warranty must be reported to a LabCoat Approved Installer within thirty (30) days of discovery.

Failure to report within this timeframe will result in termination of the Warranty.

All warranty claim determinations are made at the sole discretion of LabCoat, which may elect to:

  • Authorize repair or retreatment by an Approved Installer, or
  • Refund the original coating material cost to the vehicle owner, not to exceed $1,000, and terminate the Warranty

LabCoat shall not be responsible for:

  • Labor costs
  • Transportation costs
  • Loss of vehicle use
  • Incidental or consequential damages

9. Email Notifications

Email reminders regarding annual inspections are provided as a courtesy only.
Failure to receive a reminder does not excuse missed inspections or extend warranty coverage.

10. Definitions

Approved Installer:
An independently owned and operated business authorized by LabCoat or its regional distributor to apply Nebula Ceramic Coating products.

11. How to Make a Claim

To initiate a warranty claim:

  • Contact your installing Approved Installer
  • Or submit a request through LabCoat’s official warranty system

12. Geographic Limitations

This Warranty is valid only within the United States and Canada.

For coverage outside these regions, please consult your local LabCoat distributor.

13. Governing Law

Any dispute arising under this Warranty shall be governed by the laws of the state in which LabCoat is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
